Professor Sandrine de Ribaupierre serves in the Department of Clinical Neurological Sciences at Western University. Her research program integrates pediatric neurosurgery, surgical simulation, and medical imaging to improve surgical outcomes in children with brain tumors or epilepsy. She specifically investigates the use of virtual and augmented reality in surgical planning and training. Having earned her Medical Degree in Switzerland and completed fellowship training in Canada, she is a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. She supervises interdisciplinary projects in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology and is currently available for graduate student mentorship and clinical research collaboration.
