Professor Gordon Osinski is situated in the Department of Earth Sciences at Western University. He is a member of the Artemis III Science Team and the Principal Investigator for Canada’s first ever rover mission to the Moon. He is an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and the Royal Canadian Geographical Society.Dr. Osinski holds a PhD from the University of New Brunswick (2004) and a BSc (Hons) from the University of St. Andrews (1999), Scotland, both in Geology. He is also the Director of the Canadian Lunar Research Network, Chair of the Planetary Sciences Division of the Geological Association of Canada, and was the Founding Director of the Institute for Earth and Space Exploration at Western.
