Assistant Professor Laura Brunton in Western University’s School of Physical Therapy focuses her research on cerebral palsy, fatigue, pain, physical activity, and self-management skills in childhood-onset conditions. Her work explores how fatigue and pain relate to sleep, mental health, and activity, while also developing approaches that help youth and adults manage long-term conditions more effectively. Her research mission is to improve assessment, self-management, and quality of life for people living with childhood-onset conditions. Brunton supervises graduate students in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and holds Master of Physical Therapy and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Western University.
