Associate Professor Sue Peters conducts research in the School of Physical Therapy at Western University. Her scholarly work emphasizes postural control, neuroplasticity, stroke recovery, and mobile brain imaging, particularly the use of neurophysiological tools to predict rehabilitation outcomes. She investigates how the brain reorganizes following injury and the impact of targeted motor training on functional movements like gait and balance. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of British Columbia, she is affiliated with the Western Institute for Neuroscience and the Bone and Joint Institute. She directs the Neurorehabilitation Physiology Laboratory in the Gray Centre for Mobility and Activity at Parkwood Institute and is currently available for graduate student mentorship.
