David Barrick is a poet and a Professor in Department of English and Writing Studies at Western University. He has taught creative writing at Western University for over ten years, including special topics courses about poetry and song lyric writing.  Barrick researches poetry/poetics, fiction, song lyric writing, literary community and publishing, and contemporary Canadian literature. He is Managing Director of the Antler River Poetry reading series (formerly Poetry London).
