Associate Professor Elizabeth Finger conducts research in the Department of Clinical Neurological Sciences at Western University. Her scholarly work focuses on frontotemporal dementia, social cognition, and neuropsychiatry, particularly the development of pharmacological treatments for cognitive and behavioral symptoms in dementia. She investigates the neural basis of empathy and decision-making through brain imaging and clinical trials. Holding a Doctor of Medicine from Cornell University, she is a scientist at the Robarts Research Institute and a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. She supervises graduate students exploring cognitive aging and is currently available for doctoral mentorship and research consultation.
