Professor Christopher Smeenk serves in the Department of Philosophy at Western University. His research integrates philosophy of physics, history of science, and general relativity to explore the fundamental origins of the universe. He serves as the Director of the Rotman Institute of Philosophy, where he leads investigations into the philosophical challenges posed by contemporary cosmology and gravitational theory. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh and maintains a robust record of federal research funding. He supervises diverse projects in the philosophy of science and is currently available for doctoral student mentorship.
