Assistant Professor Peter Leong-Sit, Department of Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, focuses his research on atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia catheter ablation, arrhythmia management, electrophysiology, and epidemiology. As a member of the Arrhythmia Service, he studies invasive rhythm control strategies for complex cardiac rhythm disorders and brings strong analytic training to his clinical scholarship. His mission is to improve outcomes for patients with serious arrhythmias through evidence-based electrophysiology. He also contributes to teaching, co-chairs intracardiac echo and transseptal puncture training, and has received multiple teaching awards.
