Associate Professor Andrew J. E. Appleton, Department of Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, works in cardiometabolic health, lifestyle medicine, chronic disease prevention, chronic disease reversal, and general internal medicine. He is a clinician educator who emphasizes nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, social connection, and substance use as pillars of evidence-based care. His mission is to bring a lifestyle-first approach into both clinic and classroom to prevent and treat chronic disease more effectively.
