Associate Professor Ayman El Ansary is a member of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Western University. His research portfolio emphasizes structural optimization, seismic loading, and fluid-structure interaction, focusing on the stability of liquid-storage tanks. He works to improve the design of reinforced concrete structures and steel shells against extreme environmental forces. Having earned a Doctor of Philosophy from Western University, he contributes to the WindEEE Research Institute. He teaches structural analysis and supervises graduate students exploring innovative strengthening techniques for infrastructure, and he is currently available for new research collaborations.
