Lecturer David Reid in the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing at Western University, Faculty of Health Sciences, focuses on teaching innovation, clinical and simulation education, global health, and professional practice. His work examines how simulation-based learning and practice-oriented teaching can strengthen nursing education and prepare learners for complex care systems. His research and teaching mission is to bridge evidence and practice through innovative, globally informed nursing education. He teaches core seminars in systems thinking and professional practice, mentors students in field-based placements, and also serves as Co-Director of the Master of Health Sciences in Global Health Systems.
