Professor Matthew Heath is situated in the School of Kinesiology at Western University. His research specializes in oculomotor control, sensorimotor integration, and executive function, focusing on the neural basis of goal-directed reaching and eye movements. He works to clarify how the brain plans and executes actions in response to sensory information. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Waterloo, he is a core member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. He supervises research in the Neurocognitive Dynamics Laboratory and is currently available for doctoral mentorship in the field of human movement science and cognitive neuroscience.
