BIO
Professor Caroline Schild-Poulter conducts research in the Department of Biochemistry and the Department of Oncology at Western University. Her scholarly work focuses on DNA damage response, protein-protein interactions, and cancer research, particularly the signaling pathways that maintain genomic stability. She investigates how disruptions in these pathways contribute to tumor development and resistance to chemotherapy. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Geneva, she is a scientist at the Robarts Research Institute. She supervises graduate researchers exploring the molecular basis of cancer and is currently available for doctoral student mentorship and student inquiries regarding cellular stress responses.
