Associate Professor Steven E. Gryn, Department of Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, focuses his research on personalized medicine, adverse drug reactions, pharmacogenomics, atherosclerotic risk factors, and clinical trials. His work examines how patient-specific factors, including genetics, can guide safer and more effective drug therapy, particularly in cardiovascular prevention and therapeutics. His mission is to bring precision prescribing into everyday clinical care. He also serves in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology residency leadership and contributes to teaching in therapeutics and drug development at Western University.
