Dr. Jamie Wickett is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Western University. She works as a clinical team leader at the Victoria Family Medical Centre, an academic teaching centre in London, ON. She practices comprehensive Family Medicine with special interests in palliative care, care of the elderly and the social determinants of health. Dr. Wickett has previously served as Program Director, Associate Chair and the LHSC Department of Family Medicine Physician Lead Academics, Research and Quality Improvement. Her research interests and focus of scholarly work are centered in medical education. She has completed the Master’s of Clinical Science in Family Medicine program at Western University. Dr. Wickett has been recognized for excellence in teaching and education with a Schulich Award of Excellence for Postgraduate Education and a Canadian Association for Medical Education Certificate of Merit.
