Professor Mansour Haeryfar holds joint appointments in Microbiology and Immunology, Oncology, and Surgery at Western University. His research centers on cellular immunology, specifically investigating the role of mucosal-associated invariant T cells in infection and cancer. He explores unconventional T cell responses to develop novel immunotherapies and vaccines. His mission is to unravel the complexities of the immune system to combat inflammatory and neoplastic diseases. Dr. Haeryfar provides extensive supervision for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. He is a recognized expert in immunobiology and holds a Doctor of Philosophy, focusing on the intersection of innate and adaptive immunity.
