Professor Dean H. Betts, Departments of Physiology and Pharmacology and Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with appointment in Biology, Western University, leads research on stem cell biology, embryonic stem cells, induced pluripotent stem cells, pluripotency, and reproductive and developmental biology. His work examines cell fate, developmental potential, and translational applications of stem cell systems in animal and human models. His research mission is to understand and harness early developmental biology for regenerative and reproductive science. He also contributes to interdisciplinary teaching and graduate supervision across medicine and science at Western University.
