Dr. Price completed her BSc at the University of Waterloo and her MD in 1998 at UWO. From 1998 to 2001, April completed core paediatric residency training at Children's Hospital, which was followed by a year of fellowship training in Paediatric Critical Care Medicine at CH.

She then completed a paediatric respirology fellowship with additional critical care training at the Hospital for Sick Children, followed by a fellowship in Cystic Fibrosis at HSC, which was completed in 2005.

Dr. Price has joined the department in both paediatric critical care and paediatric respirology as of February 2006. April is currently engaged in research involving newborn screening for cystic fibrosis and cystic fibrosis-related diabetes. Her other research interest is paediatric flexible bronchoscopy.
