As a trained gross anatomist and a basic science educator, my primary role is to educate medical students in clinically relevant anatomy and embryology. I am responsible for the didactic and laboratory anatomy curriculum for 1^st and 2^nd year medical students within the systems-based integrated undergraduate medical curriculum at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and the 4^th year anatomy elective. I am the Co-Chair for the Digestion & Nutrition course and I work closely with all the other system-based course Chairs to ensure the anatomical curriculum delivered is integrated and clinically relevant. I am a member of the Undergraduate Medical Education Curriculum Committee and the Undergraduate Medical Education Pre-clerkship Integration Committee where curricular changes are implemented, assessed, and tracked.
