Yara Hosein, P.Eng. Ph.D (Biomedical Engineering), is a biomedical engineer who researches development and manufacture of medical devices and has also managed process development, regulatory applications, and operations teams for the manufacture to marketing of medical devices. 

At Western University, she progressed from postdoc at Western's Schulich Medicine and Dentistry Graduate Orthodontics Program, Adjunct Assistant Professor in the School of Biomedical Engineering, and Assistant Professor in the Bone and Joint Institute, while working for Additive Design in Surgical Solutions (ADEISS) Centre at Western's Industry 4.0 Network (WIN 4.0) as Applications Specialist, Technical Manager, and eventually as Director of Operations.
