Dr. Marguerite Lengyell, PhD, is a Psychologist and Assistant Professor in the Graduate Program in Counselling Psychology at the Faculty of Education at Western University. Her research investigates critical multiculturalism and the integration of anti-oppressive practices in clinical settings. Incorporating keywords such as critical multiculturalism, anti-oppressive practices, and interracial parenting, she explores the dynamics of social privilege and its impact on mental health services. Dr. Lengyell’s mission centers on fostering culturally responsive counselling frameworks to support diverse families and individuals. She teaches theories of counselling psychology and cross-cultural counselling while supervising graduate students. Her recent scholarship examines the dynamics of interracial parenting of mixed-race children.
