Adjunct Professor Greta R. Bauer, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads influential research on intersectionality, transgender health, non-binary health, health equity, and population health. Her work, including Trans PULSE Canada, examines how social structures and overlapping forms of inequality shape health, access to care, and well-being among trans and non-binary people. Her research mission is to generate rigorous evidence that informs policy, improves care, and makes research itself more inclusive. She also supervises graduate research at Western University in epidemiology and biostatistics.
