Associate Professor Marcia L. Edmonds serves in the Department of Medicine at Western University. Her research focuses on physical medicine and rehabilitation, specifically investigating traumatic brain injury and musculoskeletal recovery. She evaluates clinical outcomes for patients with spasticity and spinal cord injuries to enhance functional independence. Her mission is to improve the quality of life for rehabilitation patients through multidisciplinary research and patient-centered care. Dr. Edmonds provides clinical supervision for residents and has held leadership roles within the PM&R residency program. She is dedicated to advancing the standard of care for complex neurological recovery.
