Assistant Professor Sarah Blissett, Department of Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads scholarship in workplace learning environments, competency-based assessment, adult congenital heart disease, cardio-obstetrics, and health professions education. She is a Centre Researcher at the Centre for Education Research and Innovation who researches how tasks are selected in workplace learning environments and how competency-based assessment shapes learning. Her research mission is to improve clinical training while maintaining a strong specialty focus in cardiology. She also completed fellowships in integrated cardiac imaging and adult congenital heart disease.
