Professor Ruby Grewal conducts research in the Department of Surgery at Western University. Her work focuses on hand surgery, orthopedic outcomes, and wrist biomechanics, particularly the evaluation of patient-reported functional recovery following upper extremity trauma. She investigates the effectiveness of surgical versus conservative treatments for common hand and wrist conditions. Holding a Medical Degree from the University of British Columbia, she is a researcher at the Roth|McFarlane Hand & Upper Limb Centre and a member of the Bone and Joint Institute. She supervises graduate students in clinical epidemiology and is available for doctoral student mentorship and research consultation.
