Professor Douglas Naudie is situated in the Department of Surgery at Western University. His research specializes in hip and knee replacement, orthopedic biomechanics, and joint arthroplasty, focusing on the long-term performance of new implant materials. He works to clarify how patient activity levels and surgical techniques affect the wear and stability of prosthetic joints. Holding a Medical Degree from Western University and fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic, he is a member of the Bone and Joint Institute. He supervises graduate researchers in clinical epidemiology and orthopedic engineering and is currently available for doctoral mentorship and research consultation.
