Associate Professor Mamadou Diop conducts research in the Department of Medical Biophysics at Western University. His scholarly work emphasizes near-infrared spectroscopy, optical imaging, and biomedical physics, particularly for monitoring brain and tissue oxygenation. He investigates the application of laser-based technologies for non-invasive monitoring in neonatal intensive care and musculoskeletal health.
