Professor and Associate Dean Immaculate K. Namukasa serves the Faculty of Education at Western University, where she focuses on mathematics teacher education. Based on her work in Education, she was named a distinguished teaching fellow by Western University’s Center for Teaching and Learning and an Amazing Human of Thames Valley by the local school board. As a scholar and former international student, she is grateful for the Canadian educational context. She has served on more than 20 university and faculty committees, task forces and advisory boards and committees in the local community. She joined Western University in 2004, immediately after her doctorate at the University of Alberta.
