Jigang Zhou has twenty years of extensive and hands-on experience in energy storage research and energy materials characterization by synchrotron. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Battery Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in China and earned his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at Western University. Dr. Zhou was a researcher at Canadian Light Source Inc. in Saskatoon, and is currently a Staff Researcher at General Motors. Dr. Zhou is also an Adjunct faculty member in Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Western.
